sleep over surprise

This holiday I went to Maya's house for a play date. I first went to a holiday program and saw her. My mom and dad said that I will be going to her house for a play date.  After the holiday program. I was so exited. So after the program I came to her house. At first it was casual play date. We watched Netflix, and we also put hair chalk on our hair. My hair was ombre red and Maya's hair was orange stripes. It was getting darker and me and Maya was skate boarding in the drive way it was really fun until I realize that I wasn't staying. we started freaking out.we really wanted a sleepover. So we came back in and begged for a sleep over. "I'll text her" Maya's mom said. We waited a couple of minutes for the reply of my mom. All of the sudden Maya's mom walked into the room. she said.... "you two can have a sleep over". "yaaassss!" I said full of excitement. So the night went past and it was very fun.

Band at C.S.N.S.

Here at College Street Normal School there is band, chorale choir, and senior choir. This is a good chance for me to follow my passion in music. 

This year I have tried out for the band as a vocalist and for the chorale. Guess what? I got in both! 

I had butterflies in my tummy. I had to sing in front of the teacher and every one else that's auditioning.In the end I did not regret auditioning. 

The first band meeting was fun we didn't do much singing but it was still fun. We practiced setting up the chords and musical instruments.

I am very excited to go to the next practice and to start learning our first song!  

Auckland,Coromandel

It was time for me and my family to go on holidays. We went to Auckland and Hahei Coromandelwhere the cathedral cove is. It took 9 hours to go to Auckland.  We first came to our hotel.  For the first day we just rested.  The hotel is nice but there were more to come. The next day we walked to the Auckland sky tower. It was really high. I was really creeped  out when I went to the elevator but then i got used to it. And there I was, In the tallest building in New Zealand. I looked through the huge windows I leaned on to it. It feels like if i was going to fall. My heart was pounding really fast. I finally decided to stop leaning. The sun started to go down. So me and my family decided to remake photos from a couple of years ago because I have been here before when I was 4 years old (now I am 11). The photo's looked very similar.  After we took lots and lots of photos we came back to the hotel. The next day we went to Hahei I was really excited because there is an awesome event that we are going to do there. We first checked in to the holiday park. It was already dark when we came so we decided to do the event the next day. So that day came and we drove to the beach Were going... KAYAKING IN THE OCEAN!!! we saw the professional kayakers getting ready. We got into our group and start kayaking away the waves made it bumpy but it made it funner. It took 2 hours of kayaking. We first came to stingray bay. There are lots and lots of stingray's in there, obviously its called stingray bay. After we  have done looking at the stingrays we carried on kayaking. Finally my favorite the cathedral cove. We stopped in cathedral cove and it was really cool. We took lots of photos. The professional kayakers  made hot chocolates and cookies. After a long break we kayaked back to the beach. The very next day me and my family drove to Thames in Coromandel peninsula. We stayed in a very unique caravan it was very vintage. From where we're staying we could see the mountain and the river. For the next 2 days we just explored the town. It was time to go back to palmy. I was  sad that this adventure will be over and happy at the same time because I'm missing my house. And that Was my holiday.

The hideout is a silent room where every one has to be silent so they can concentrate. In the other rooms people are allowed to talk so its harder for me to concentrate on my learning.
