Plane rides

OMG! are you serious! I won a ticket to hawaii! this has got to be a dream. I pinched myself ten times but I was still there. I was so excited. I ran all around the house. I almost exploded like a TNT. Weeks had past and I could not help it anymore it was time. It was time for me to go. We drove to the airport and I was jumping up and”down. But then I realised…. I'm not going to be with my family at all I’m gonna miss them  so so much. The sound of a plane came outside My place, that means I'm up next. I walk down the airport, the wind was rushing beside me blowing my hair back. I entered the tunnel to the plane and stepped up the stairs. It was that moment when you choose your seat. I didn't really care where i’m sitting. That night in the plane was very peaceful until I heard grumbling noises. “Nah it's probably just cloud we’re going through” I thought in my head. But it wasn’t, it wasn’t at all. The rain started pouring down. It was a storm, a big storm. The lighting struck the plane. Everything went black. I woke up to find that everything was just a dream

The giraffe

The giraffe is a special type of animal. They have very long neck to reach their food. They have special teeths to take of thorns from the herbivorous tree so they can eat the leaf. They also have brown horns called ossy cone in their head. If they have a circle on the horn that means it is a male. If their horns are hairy that means it is a female. Giraffe eats 16 to 20 hours a day so  they have very dark blue tongue to keep them from getting sunburnt because they live in the savannah.

Decreasing deforestation

Deforestation has taken over lots of lives from the animals and plants in the forest. Deforestation has also caused many other things to the environment like floods and more.

This is why I think we should decrease the amount of logging there has been. We need to use as little paper and timber and more things that are made out of wood. The reason why I'm saying this is because the logging industries have been cutting so much wood, it's getting really dry for the animals for the animals to to live.

If we cut down too many trees, oxygen will run out because trees gets the carbon dioxide and release oxygen; then every creature in the world including us humans will not be able to breathe and live.

When trees are removed plants that are attached are also removed, so the plants die with the tree.

Experts has estimated that with deforestation,137 species of plants and animals have died every day. This means  about 50 thousand species of plants and animals are lost in a year.

Deforest was blamed for many floods around the world. When trees are there, the roots are able to "strengthen" the soil and prevent erosion. They also absorb some of the water, decreasing how much water is in the soil. When the roots are gone from trees after deforestation, there's nothing to strengthen the soil anymore. Hence, the soil can slide around a lot more and the water is able to build on the surface causing the flood to happen

Another way to stop this is by doing a less damaging method of logging. This is called the strip logging. By doing it like this, Only a small strip of wood from trees in the forest is logged. This will allow the plants and trees to regrow by producing a gap while logging.

I hope we cover this problem of deforestation sooner other than later. The wildlife needs help!

unicorns magic

 It was 2 days away from the celebration of magic. Every one was so exited. It's when we gather around the pond of crystal, the pond of crystal is the power source magic all the creatures in nature-magic Island has. Thousands of years ago we have won the war  of pond of crystal. Now we get to own the pond of crystal for something good. If our  enemies wich are the dark falerieas won the war they would invade this whole island. And now they are banished to a long lost island. This is why we celebrate the celebration of magic. 

The next day was very exciting knowing the day after would be the celebration of magic. The magical creatures have decorated the whole island.
" almost.. Done!" Said Kimmy the unicorn putting the last ribbon up in a very high tree "I'm really exited for tommorow" she said " yeah all that rainbow cupcakes, raindrop snacks, yumm....." Her friend Chloe the fairy said. 
Kimmy walked back to her house so she can rest from all the hard Work she had done. She started at 9 in the morning and she finished at 1:30 at the after noon. She woke up in the evening To find that it was almost half an hour till the night celebration starts. "Oh no! I have only half more hour till the night celebration I need to get ready" said Kimmy rushing through the dressing room. She painted  her horn rainbow with sparkly glitters.

Meanwhile in a long lost island...... 
"I have waited for this to hapen. It has been 50 thousand years since the war have ended. This means that it is the 50th moon year according to the space time. As soon as that that full moon rise  I will be able  To take over nature magic island! Muahahaha!" Said the leader of the dark falerieas  

The night celebration started in the pond of crystal. It was very crowded there. There was fairies, unicorns, crystal dragon. You name it, it probably has it. 
As soon as the full moon comes appon the pond of crystal the magic comes out of it and goes to each mythical creature to give wealth, happiness and more to them.

Every body was waiting for the moment. The full moon slowly started to rise upon the pond of crystal. As soon his does....." CRASH!" a group of dark falerieas crashed in to the night celebration, every one started to panic, creatures started running for dear life. " I can handle this.." Thought Kami the unicorn. Her horn started glowing. It was glowing so bright. It burst up to the dark falerieas like a speed of light. Then each and every one of the dark  falerieas turned into tiny speckles of dust and creatures all gathered to gather  together and resumed the night celebration as the pond of crystal worked its magic. sleep over surprise

This holiday I went to Maya's house for a play date. I first went to a holiday program and saw her. My mom and dad said that I will be going to her house for a play date.  After the holiday program. I was so exited. So after the program I came to her house. At first it was casual play date. We watched Netflix, and we also put hair chalk on our hair. My hair was ombre red and Maya's hair was orange stripes. It was getting darker and me and Maya was skate boarding in the drive way it was really fun until I realize that I wasn't staying. we started freaking out.we really wanted a sleepover. So we came back in and begged for a sleep over. "I'll text her" Maya's mom said. We waited a couple of minutes for the reply of my mom. All of the sudden Maya's mom walked into the room. she said.... "you two can have a sleep over". "yaaassss!" I said full of excitement. So the night went past and it was very fun.

Band at C.S.N.S.

Here at College Street Normal School there is band, chorale choir, and senior choir. This is a good chance for me to follow my passion in music. 

This year I have tried out for the band as a vocalist and for the chorale. Guess what? I got in both! 

I had butterflies in my tummy. I had to sing in front of the teacher and every one else that's auditioning.In the end I did not regret auditioning. 

The first band meeting was fun we didn't do much singing but it was still fun. We practiced setting up the chords and musical instruments.

I am very excited to go to the next practice and to start learning our first song!  

Auckland,Coromandel

It was time for me and my family to go on holidays. We went to Auckland and Hahei Coromandelwhere the cathedral cove is. It took 9 hours to go to Auckland.  We first came to our hotel.  For the first day we just rested.  The hotel is nice but there were more to come. The next day we walked to the Auckland sky tower. It was really high. I was really creeped  out when I went to the elevator but then i got used to it. And there I was, In the tallest building in New Zealand. I looked through the huge windows I leaned on to it. It feels like if i was going to fall. My heart was pounding really fast. I finally decided to stop leaning. The sun started to go down. So me and my family decided to remake photos from a couple of years ago because I have been here before when I was 4 years old (now I am 11). The photo's looked very similar.  After we took lots and lots of photos we came back to the hotel. The next day we went to Hahei I was really excited because there is an awesome event that we are going to do there. We first checked in to the holiday park. It was already dark when we came so we decided to do the event the next day. So that day came and we drove to the beach Were going... KAYAKING IN THE OCEAN!!! we saw the professional kayakers getting ready. We got into our group and start kayaking away the waves made it bumpy but it made it funner. It took 2 hours of kayaking. We first came to stingray bay. There are lots and lots of stingray's in there, obviously its called stingray bay. After we  have done looking at the stingrays we carried on kayaking. Finally my favorite the cathedral cove. We stopped in cathedral cove and it was really cool. We took lots of photos. The professional kayakers  made hot chocolates and cookies. After a long break we kayaked back to the beach. The very next day me and my family drove to Thames in Coromandel peninsula. We stayed in a very unique caravan it was very vintage. From where we're staying we could see the mountain and the river. For the next 2 days we just explored the town. It was time to go back to palmy. I was  sad that this adventure will be over and happy at the same time because I'm missing my house. And that Was my holiday.
